Nakazakicho is a charming second-hand clothing district

"Nakazakicho", a retro town is located about 10 minutes on foot from Umeda

Why are there so many second-hand clothing stores in Nakazakicho? 

According to one theory,

when people who enjoy fashion remodeled old folk houses and opened restaurants, general stores, and second-hand clothing stores and held art exhibitions, it became a hot topic and attracted the attention of the media. It seems that the number of shops gradually increased from there.

This time, I would like to introduce a few used clothing stores in Nakazakicho.

First of all, I would like to introduce "Orange", a second-hand clothing store in the near neighborhood. An eye-catching second-hand clothing store with a beautiful orange appearance.

The theme is Orange County, a famous place in California in the United States.

It is a seaside town where gorgeous yachts float around in a tourist destination famous for having Disneyland.

It seems that items are carefully selected and purchased one by one from the United States, and all of them are in good condition.

The easy-to-use price range unique to second-hand clothing stores is also attractive. The owner, Mr. Matsunaga, is also attractive 😊

Another store, "NanD room704", which was in the back of a narrow alley of our shop's neighborhood, has moved and will reopen in Takatsuki City from August. The owner, Mr. Kitsuki, is a wonderful person, so please go and visit them.

Next,

speaking of Nakazakicho, it is "Sakura Building" which is a landmark and retains the atmosphere of Showa.

It was less than 60 years old and was originally an office building. Currently, it is packed with general stores and used clothing stores.

There, the famous Euro used clothing "Marche".

All the clothes are purchased from Europe and are very tasteful.  There are many precious vintages from the vintage. The owner, Chu-san, Nakatatsu-san, is a very friendly person!

Usually there are no signs and doesn't the entrance look good.

The inside of the store is lined with high-quality second-hand clothes, and it's really eye-catching.

I haven't been able go at all these days, but checking this shop is indispensable.
