In Japanese the word "aware" means pitiful and some people think of it as a bad word.

Customers often ask us what our shop's name means.

"Ito" means greatly or  very.

"awarenari"  is an old word that is also used in pillow books, etc.

It's a state of being amiable and emotional.

The two ancient words are combined and it becomes itoaware ...
