Cashless payment with electronic money

I am Okamoto, the staff at itoaware, Osaka.

When the 'self-restraint' period ended, I went to our shop in Kyoto to help out. A few days later, I worked at the pop-up event at an underground mall "The CUBE" which is connected directly to Kyoto Station.

Everyday, during lunch break I ate Taiwanese donuts named "VIE DE FRANCE" at a bakery named France. It tasted really good. However, when I went to buy it on the last day of the event, it was sold out! I was shocked!!

I asked Ms.Chen about Taiwanese donuts.

She said "This is a completely different donut from a real Taiwanese donut."

It seems the texture and seasoning were arranged to suit the Japanese people.

In any case, it was delicious so if you see one, please try it!

Our Kyoto shop is in the middle of the tourist area. So it"s in a very luxurious location where we are natually sightseeing on the way to the shop and on the way back.

So, this will be my first day to work again at our Osaka shop after a long absence.

Do you use cashless payments?

As the name implies, cashless payment is a payment method that does not use cash.

Credit card and electronic money payments, and recently QR code payments using smartphones have become mainstream.

When it comes to smartphone payments, I am exclusively a Paypay user. Recently, I don't use cash at convenience stores. If you think that the charged amount is not enough, just by linking with your bank account, you can quickly charge with one mobile phone on the spot and there is a function to limit your charge amount so that you do not overuse it so it's safe.

It's terribly convenient!   

Recently, I've been looking for a small wallet. Since point cards are also incorporated into the applications, the number of point cards you need to carry around has decreased.

Smart minimal life is accelerating.

Ms. Chen who is multilingual and a native of Taiwan can speak Japanese, English, Chinese and her native Taiwanese.  She came from our shop in Kanazawa "aisorashi" to help out at our pop-up shop is still working at our Kyoto shop so please come visit us.
