The charm of yellow gold
Hello! Thank you for reading this blog.
We sell K10 and K18 yellow gold.
Yellow gold gives a gorgeous impression.
It is resistant to discoloration and is not easily scratched, so you can use it for everyday use without worrying.
One of the attractions is that it has a better cost performance than silver.
[K10]

Contains generally 42% of gold, and the yellowish impression is light and has a moderate sense of quality.
It is more durable than other pure gold because it's made from a smaller amount of pure gold and a larger amount of more durable alloy metal, which makes it reasonably priced.
Even in our shop, the 1.0mm wide ring is sold at an affordable price of ¥ 11,000.

Yellow gold is a typical example of 18k gold.
It contains 75% of gold and the yellow color is clearly stronger, giving a fine and gorgeous impression.
Due to the high percentage of gold, it is less likely to change over time and is less likely to cause allergies.
The characteristics of gold vary depending on its content. We do not handle the following at our shop, but we will introduce it.
K9 → It seems that K9 was used a lot in the 19th century when a lot of antique jewelry was made, and it seems that it is still preferred in Europe such as England.
K14 → In the United States, the culture of making antique jewelry was less developed than in Europe, so it seems that the purity of gold was regarded as important. Therefore, it seems that it was not common to make an engraving that guarantees quality unless it is K14 or higher.
K22 →Since it is close to K24 which is 100 percent pure gold. the yellow color is emphasized deeper.
As it becomes softer, it is easily damaged, so it seems that it is less handled.
Generally, K10 and K18 are the mainstream, but it is interesting that there are differences depending on the gold content, and the characteristics and background are also different.
By the way、
why K24 Gold isn't used as an accessory
K24 is 100% pure gold, but the metal itself is soft, so if you use it as it is, the accessories will be worn out and easily deformed. The higher the gold content, the less likely it is to deform its color, but the softness makes it more susceptible to scratches, making K24 gold unsuitable for accessories.
